The main application scope of PAM.
Polyacrylamide is obtained from the polymerization reaction of acrylamide monomer. It has a linear structure and is a colorless, odorless, non-toxic solid.
Polyacrylamide is used in four major industries:
1. Oil fields. Oil extraction is mainly used in three aspects:
1. Drilling fluid 2. Oil displacing agent 3. Fracturing fluid
2. Water treatment. Mainly used for the treatment of urban domestic sewage and industrial sewage and sludge dehydration.
3. Papermaking. Mainly used as retention aid, filter aid, fiber dispersant and dry strength agent.
4. Mineral processing. Polyacrylamide is used to separate minerals and ores, which can cause solid minerals to sink quickly, thereby improving the separation effect and production efficiency, reducing tailings loss and reducing costs.
5. Others. It is widely used in construction, textile, alcohol, MSG, sugar and other industries.
