Flocculant agent pam is a linear organic polymer, which is also a polymer flocculant chemical for water treatment.
Anionic pam polyacrylamide flocculant can absorb suspended particles in water, play a link and bridge role between particles, make fine particles form relatively large floc, and speed up the precipitation rate. This process is called flocculation, because of good flocculation effect of flocculant agent pam, sludge wastewater pam is widely used as a flocculant for water treatment and sewage treatment.

Electroplating plant sewage treatment is the use of sludge wastewater flocculant and polyaluminum chloride, the former as a coagulant, the latter is used as a coagulant, only when the use of only need to be prepared into 1‰ solution when the preparation of the solution, the flocculant agent pam evenly sprinkled into the water, stirring until dissolved can be used. The amount of the above two products is roughly 2-10 grams per ton of water for sludge wastewater pam and 20-100g per ton of water for PAC.

In the field of mining coal washing, anionic polyacrylamide is generally used, with a molecular weight of 6 to 25 million, the use of polyacrylamide as a flocculant can promote the settlement of solid objects in mining and coal washing recovery water, so that the water can be clarified, and useful solid particles can be recovered to avoid pollution to the environment;
